Let me explain: If you were drowning and someone threw you a life preserver. Would you take it or would you drown. Of course you would take the life preserver. I'm going to throw you that life preserver.
If you were able to visit Hell and see the torment and pain those who are there are suffering and then visit Heaven and see the beauty and tranquility, it would be a no brainer where you want to go when you die.
This is why there is no urgency for many as they can not see the future. (Out of sight - Out of mind). The problem is thousands are daily going to Hell for eternity.
Guess What? Life can end in a split second, just like what happened to my 17 year old son. I'm sure you have heard stories of someone you know who died suddenly. The decision you make on earth will result where you end up. Once you die, you can't suddenly believe or have someone pray you out of Hell. IT'S TOO LATE.
Misconceptions:
- There is no Hell - Those souls that don't make it to Heaven, cease to exist when they die.
- There is a Purgatory and you have a second chance over time.
- There is no God, therefore there is no Heaven or Hell - We all cease to exist when we die.
- New Age Thinking - Many believe in reincarnation with Heaven and Hell as a state of mind.
- There are many religions and different ways to Heaven.
- If my good outweighs my bad, then I will make it to Heaven.
- My parents were Christians and I attended church, therefore I must be going to Heaven.
The Bible teaches that there is no other way to salvation than through Christ. Jesus says in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.""For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Jesus was born to die for our sins so that we would not have to.

Maybe you believe your chances are high that you will live another 20 years or so. Maybe you believe that you will not die suddenly and still have a chance to repent. Have you heard of the RAPTURE? Many have seen the "Left Behind Series" of the the Rapture and Tribulation could look like. I have spent many years studying the End Times and no more prophesy is required for the Rapture to occur. What does the bible say. "
Matthew 24:42 "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming."
Matthew 24:44 "For the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
Matthew 24:36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone."
Matthew 25:13 "Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour."
I Thessalonians 5:4,9-10 "For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. After the Rapture will start the Tribulation. Tribulation is the 7-year time period in the end times in which humanity's decadence and depravity will reach its fullness, with God judging accordingly. Tribulation

Many people have have been clinically dead and had experiences of going to Heaven or Hell and back. I'm not sure how many are true or not, but the theme was always the same. Hell was a place of torment where they wanted to repent or tell others not to come to this place. Heaven was an incredible beautiful and peaceful place that none wanted to come back to earth as they felt like they were home. How do you avoid going to Hell? There is no sin that is too great if you repent and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Do not wait another minute! If you are sincere, here is a sample prayer.
" Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life towards you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life.
